Peter, I think your post about seeing emails and extremist views is slander, and I protest at this kind of comment.
Under your wording, people could imagine any kind of written statement.
The fact is, that whatever I proposed as a UKIP member, was ignored from the start to the end. The committee never wanted me to participate in the party.
That UKIP Dover and Deal has fallen apart, judging by Andy's post, is something I knew long ago, the committee never did anything!
The result, its havong fallen apart, explains what I have been posting.
However, when the Pledge came out, I was contacted by MEP Paul Nuttall, and sent two boxes of leaflets to deliver, in Jabuary 2011, which I distributed from door to door, for a referendum on the EU.
UKIP head-office and other UKIP offices, including mrs. Andreesen, seem to be on good terms with me, even yesterday I received the UKIP bulletin by post, and Mrs. Andessen has sent me her monthly bulletin from Brussels.
If UKIP headoffice decide that the UKIP branch in Dover and Deal has indeed fallen apart, and ask me to work for them here, I will.
There ain't nothing extremist in what I proposed when a member of UKIP.
The fault of the UKIP branch Dover and Deal falling to smithereens under Vic's chairmanship is not the fault of Nigel Farage, but solely of the UKIP branch Dover and Deal.

P.S.
Peter, I have worked till 1 .o'clock today, 1 in the morning, that is, and tomorrow I'm going away to work in another County for a week.
I won't be able to respond to any more posts in this time, so if you are trying to turn this thread, about Vic packing in, into a thread about publicising emails sent from me to Vic (those which Vic shows you and not tens of others which he has conveniently not shown you), please note that it is unfair to unjustly attack someone when they cannot defend themselves.

PETER;
It's nowt to do with wooden spoon, its about a clear concern raised by two different forum members with very differing views.
I thank andy cooper for giving an honest view both on the real situation within UKIP and the local situation within UKIP
obviously UKIP has a lot to do to regain the trust of its own members locally those that have remained, and then once they have achieved that, they can concentrate on the wider general publc.
Thankyou andy

I must admit I didn't realise (and it's none of my business) that Peter was a UKIP member.
So Keefy you can't accuse Peter of being a Tory anymore

I think therefore I am (not a Tory supporter)

peter has gone out of his way when i visit blakes to go out of his way to tell me hes not a member of the tory party but supports there views.
realy i don't care
its up to peter whoever he supports.doesnt support

i did wonder keith after you striking up this new friendship with blue barry.
these days people switch sides more often than they change their gas supplier.
you could always switch to vic's party, you would automatically go on the committee.

All one can say is that NF visited East Kent, albeit Sandwich.
He did not draw an audience and went into the marquee where I was located 2/3 times but failed to attract attention & did not get a drink. Would not wait in the queue like the rest of us.

I'm not a member of any political party and never have been, never will be. But when friends ask for advice I am always prepared to help. The correspondence Vic showed me confirms much of what Andy wrote above and I stand by what I said. Contrary to what Alexander has written above I have not mounted an attack on him but I think Vic is a good straight (if sometimes misguided

) local politician and activist. He has done a lot of good community work especially on the health service front and I did not think he deserved to be pilloried the way he had been.
So when he consulted me I offered to make the above posting. Alexander's views as expressed in the emails I read were closer to BNP policy than UKIP and I concluded therefore that he is in the wrong party.
Keith I have friends who support (or are members of) all the main parties and try to support them in different ways. That doesn't mean I agree with their politics or would vote for them.

Nor trying to justify myself Keith, trying to right what I saw as an injustice. I would do the same for you if necessary.

I think the NF referred to was the UKIP so called leader not the n/f bunch or have I got it wrong again.
The atmosphere on this thread seems to be changing for the worse.
