I would leave too if the Home Office would offer me enough of an incentive!

Saw a telegraph pole 'danger of death' sign today in Draycott, Somerset. The English text was repeated in Welsh. Presumably the Bristol Channel also sees small boat/coracle migration then.

Mass migration advocates often claim that London (and Britain) were always highly diverse.
This simply isn't true - the scale of migration of the past 25 years is unprecedented. Cities like London have been transformed in just three and half decades.

I wrote a very lengthy response , which I deleted, but frankly I’m simply getting more and more disillusioned as the years go by and our heritage , culture and language are being increasingly eroded and in some areas completely lost. I despair.

1.Labour to get rid of expensive migrant hotels.
2.Labour to get rid of 'cruel' vagrancy act.
Fun Fact 109,000 people claimed asylum in the year ending March 2025, 17% more than in the year ending March 2024 and higher than the previous recorded peak of 103,000 in 2002.
If not in hotels WHERE eh?

When it suits government purposes to deflect criticism and encourage the stupid public into thinking that they’re actually doing something constructive!
I dread to think what this country is going to look like after another four years of this incompetent mob!

Playing catch-up on LA and the ICE raids.
Nothing to see here — just pro-terror Green Party councillor Hau-Yu Tam (Lewisham) sharing immigration raid alerts.
FWIW it all starts off with becoming a Borough of Sanctuary - fun events to celebrate diversity - days in school to rejoice that half your classmates can't speak English - and ends with weekly hate-mobs on your streets and violent disorder when Immigration Enforcement rock up!

Little will change until the French stop the boats leaving their side of the Chanel, the UK government past and present are simply paying lip service.
We need medics not those like nail bar employees.

Little will change until migrants believe it is better to stay on the continent than attempt to get to the UK.

They don’t want to stay in Europe because they cannot access anything as the don’t have the necessary identification documents, if the British Government were to introduce ID cards then part of the problem would be solved. No ID , no access to anything. But the liberal elite are totally against this suggestion. As long as we have people in charge who’s lives are totally insulated from the problem then they won’t do anything except pay lip service and pretend they’re trying to solve it.

I wander what a remake of Porridge would look like?
NEW: Record number of terrorists behind bars — and prisons are losing control.
266 terror convicts in UK jails — highest ever.
61% are Islamist extremists.
Gang violence, radicalisation, and even Sharia courts now inside UK prisons.
Inmates are attacking officers with knives and boiling oil, running the wings while staff fear being called racist for enforcing order.
What really gets my goat is the way 'they' have lied to us and our children claiming England has ALWAYS been a nation of immigrants which is total bunk.
FWIW I was born in 1951!

Could be a long hot summer?
"A source familiar with the report said its author, Baroness Louise Casey, specifically links illegal migration with the violence perpetrated against vulnerable girls.
The Sun understands there are fears in the Home Office that knowledge of the link between undocumented arrivals and grooming gangs could trigger more civil unrest."
N.B. Expect release AFTER Wednesday to save awkward PMQs.

As a Lancastrian I must say I'm rarely suprised by the behaviour of those from Yorkshire!

Apologies. It seems that we have misbehaviour from a Burnley man (who moved to the UK in March 2022 so he could continue his studies!)

In another climbdown by Labour it seems flights are to resume by Pakistani airliners. They are banned for safety reasons.
In May 2020 Pakistan International Airlines, PIA Flight 8303, an Airbus A320 from Lahore to Karachi crashed, killing 97 people.
An inquiry found that 262 out of 860 Pakistan's pilots held fake or fraudulently obtained licenses.
Pakistani ministers have now demanded that their flag carrier can resume flights to Britain in return for accepting grooming gang abuser deportations.
3 Pakistani nationals guilty of grooming gang abuse are the subject of ongoing diplomacy between the British and Pakistani Governments.
Labour ministers were told that Pakistan is concerned about deportation ‘floodgates’ opening.
Foreign Secretary David Lammy pushed hard for these deportations but was ‘fobbed off’ by various Pakistan ministers.
Ministers wanted a plan in place to deport them before Baroness Casey’s review was published.
(The UK's allocated Official Development Assistance (ODA) budget for Pakistan was £41.54 million in the financial year 2023/24 and is expected to increase significantly to £133 million in 2024/25).
