- 7 March 2012 16:20157960Well I never...just shows how the stature of the Euro Show has slipped, once upon a time it was a near guarantee of instant stardom, remember ABBA, and people used to grapple for the chance to be there and represent their country. It hasnt transferred into the 21st Century terribly well despite more viewer participation.
Also I think its credibility was undermined a bit here with the people that repesented us...for the past several years they were all almost total unknowns.
This time we know the geezer, but I beleive the selectors had to go to the Library at the British Museum do read up on Dr Schultz's "The History of Embalming Fluids and How to remove them". Its not a well read volume and it was incased in the dust of centuries but held vital knowledge.
