IDS has been warned by many organisations including Sir Jeremy Heywood and other
Treasury civil servants that his wellfare reforms will backfire and cost more.
Now SMF Independent Social Market Foundation have warned him his reforms will cause
hardship for the lowest income families.
It is a Coalition trend of ill-conceived policies helping the well off and not caring for the
vulnerable...........

Here is the latest one from Reg..might have been best on the Republican Nominations thread Reg...but here we are as requested, courtesy of the cartoonist from The Times Peter Brookes.
The way Mitt has been going recently there doesnt appear to be too much happening between the ears!

Thanks Boss.
Republicans in small majority seats are forming a `rebel` group similar to the
Tory 100 rebels group.....`special relationship again`............angry at Romney`s
continuous habit of making such obvious gaffes.
It appears they enjoy being out of touch with their general public as well..........

UKIP`s Farage dangles carrot of a deal not to oppose `some` tory candidates in 2015
election if Cameron will give `pledge`in blood ....not in cast iron as usual which he never
keeps....for an EU Referendum under his conditions.
NB UKIP is the only party who propose a `flat rate Tax system.......

not sure what mr farage is up to there, he normally takes great pleasure out of blue bashing - cost them 20 seats at the last election.
their conference is about to kick off, will be interesting what comes out of it.

Romney earned $ 13.7 million and paid 14.1 % tax...........can we obtain such
information on our high earners ?............it might encourage our government to
prioritize the closing of Tax loopholes..........not holding breath....

So Romney paid around 2million in tax and some want him to pay even more.
Reg, ever asked yourself why in 13 years labour never closed them?
