- 25 May 2012 21:09174684Ah! yes indeed, last night ran very smoothly and I loved the added touch of the Haysden String Quartet, very easy on ones ear and most enjoyable. It was good to meet up again with some familiar faces but as PaulB says above, it is difficult to catch up with all when you're trying to get the photos. Great to see Cllr Diane Smallwood there and she was looking very well.
Congratulations to Cllr Anne Smith our new 'Mayor of Dover' and I wish her well in her first year as Mayor. I'm sure with her experience of being Deputy Mayor over the last year, she will do doubt do a splendid job
I was sad to see our Ronnie step down, she has done us all proud in her year as 'The Mayor of Dover'. The little boy Owen is the Godson of Ronnie's Son Sean. He is a lovely little chap.
