watty,no differant to lord boyce or vera lyn niether of them two where born in dover.so promoting howard [west ham lad] in the same way.the only differance is that he lives here the other ywo dont,get my drift lad.

you will all be surprised to learn that neither sarah or myself will be the new town mayor.
apparently they have awarded it to someone called anne smith, i can only wish her well and assure her that i do not bear her any grudge.
having said that it may be best not to leave the chain lying around when i am in the vicinity.

thanks for all your kind comments, i have now dried my eyes and pulled myself together.
no more mr nice guy from me, my sights are set on a higher goal - honourable member for dover and deal at the next general election.
not so much deal though, takes too long on the bus.
i shall be setting up a website so you all have an opportunity to send donations, dave and ed have tipped me the wink on how to get around the rules legally.
