I have decided to post again in the sure knowledge that our forum lords and masters will, in the Christmas spirit of love and reconciliation, call an amnesty, forgive the sins and transgressions of those whom they have cast into the outer darkness, and wipe the slate clean. All those in favour, say Aye.
Merry Christmas to everyone, unfortunately we are stuck in darkest Surrey over the holidays so cannot wish any of you the compliments of the season in person.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

Hope you and Kathryn have a really good Christmas Peter and best wishes for 2013.
It would be churlish of me not to say Aye to bringing David back in to the Forum; please ask him to tone down some of his insults though - I understand I would/can be a target as I'm a Councillor, but rational arguments will always get better results.

I'll drink to that. Well done Peter. Popped into you know where for lunch (yes, I know it's Saturday but the clientele wasn't too bad), only thing missing was the clatter of the knitting needles.
Here's to a hopefully friendly forum.

I agree, amnesty. Lost too many good people as it is - life's too short for all this silliness.

Good idea Peter. Lets not count our chickens though, there has been a lot of pressure so far, they are not easily persuaded by the people!

Bern, Sarah, Bob Frost, David Little and Chris Precious for starters. Others may come to mind later.

I particularly miss uncle Tom Cobley, no matter how confusing things may get.
As long as we do not have to go out into 'no man's land' to kick some silly ball about...Aye says I.
