vic is a bit down as he cant get out of bed at he moment, but he commends the hospital staff who are doing everything they can for him.

UPATE,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Vic has just ths minute phoned me to say hes in the ward unable to leave his bed,
he has his foot up, but very caring staff around him.
Vic has loads of reading material, and is to be in contact with the local media to put his 3rd option on the port lol
vic is in high spirits, and did say the doctor said he could leave on friday, but the surgeon who called later said no way could he go home with the leg as it was.
as said hes had another op which hes waiting the findings on.
he has his own ward room and on suite lol
but he does warn he will be back as soon as possible lol
vic would like to thank all forumites friends and not so friends
for all the kind comments.

good to hear he is in high spirits keith, certainly going through the wars at the moment.
probably better he gets his teeth into a local issue if only to take his mind off of the operations.

I am so glad that Vic is in high spirits, a positive frame of mind is so important for quick healing. I do hope he gets home on Friday.

jan;
i do apologise for causing confusion;
the friday i refer to was last friday, where vic was told by the doctor he was able to leave tha evening, vic was up and dresses but the surgeon who called later stated the woun has not healed enough and woulnt allow our vic home.
but vic admits hes in the right place.
hes got plenty of time to think of new campaigns, and how to combat the DHB/PEOPLES PORT plans.
im sorry for causing confusion

To be honest Keith I think it was my fault for not reading your post properly.
I hope he makes it home very soon.

great news vic, 14 days in hospital must have been purgatory for you, now that you are home it will be purgatory for lesley!!
just remember to do what the quacks have told you and take things easy.
doesn't stop you posting your political stuff on here, does it?

Welcome back Vic. I read Andy's report on Dover Locals about your time in hospital, very gory. A similar thing happened to me in the same hospital but not as bad as your experience. I hope that things work out well for you.
