Oh dear, that does not sound too good, poor Vic, I hope he gets on the mend quickly.
Is he going to pay for all those referendums himself because I doubt the parishes will want to waste money on them, he really can be very silly at times.

I wish him well for his recovery but hopefully he will realise it's not going to be a speedy one if he wants the best result.
And I don't think any parishes will vote for a referendum on the port, given the decisive vote of DTC and the current state of government deliberations it would be an unnecessary expense and pointless exercise.

Get well soon Vic-I've already ordered the welding rods-low hydrogen. Everyone at Dover Steamship Company wishes you back to full working order ASAP.

I agree Ray but he wants to ask a different question. I have told him that if he forces a referendum in the village parishes he will be as popular as a pork chop at a bar mitzvah.

I wonder if he'll get a trifle more than a 25% turnout.

Lets hope he pays attention to what the consultant must have told him and to take it easy this time. After the first operation he was out canvassing for UKIP almost immediately. I know what I am talking about as I had a new knee three years ago.
I also had a new hip less than a year ago and was given instructions on what to do and what NOT to do after I left hospital. My hip operation cost £13,000, a lot of money to throw away if you don't do as you are told.
Having said that, good luck Vic and TAKE IT EASY.

I'm sorry to hear that our very own fighter Vic is still in hospital, at least he is in the best place so they can make sure that he rests that troublesome knee joint of his.

I think that he must be in "purdah" or pain, one of the two.
Get well soon Vic.
