21:1070389Jeanette, as I mentioned earlier, if cruise passenger`s were better informed with information on Dover, you would surely be swamped! They all loved you and your pub today. (Once they found it!!!).
Tell them that I came, and no one answered.

07:2370489The cruise lines don't want to inform their passengers about any stop Colin unless they are paying for an expensive day-excursion trip - they make a lot of money out of them.
Some actually say that Dover is the port for London and nothing else.
I'm sure that some people going on a cruise would look up on the internet before they go, to see what is in any particular port/town - not all of course, but some would.
There are leaflets given out about Dover at the "Cruise Welcome" desk.
My Discover Dover leaflet has all the information on local historic sites and attractions as well as the good shops, pubs and restaurants, people would want.
I asked once if it could be adapted to be put on the big blank wall as you come out of the cruise terminal 2 and yes it could be, but only if commissioned by the Chamber of Commerce - so it won't be done.
