just spotted that paul has sneaked in an ad for the above to happen in pencester in early august.
always a great event, the weird and wonderful animals that people(especially children) keep as pets is astonishing.
i have a couple of alpine plants still flourishing in my back garden purchased two years ago for about half a quid each.
the town council always put on a great street event on christmas lights day but seem to cut back on the summer event in town.
maybe i missed it.

The LRCF held their annual Paper Boat Race in conjunction with last years Horticultural & Pet Show and the whole day was a great event. We will be doing the same again this year so time to start making those boats....prize for the best one!! Be great to have a Dover Forum Team there!

Might be an idea to put the cost of a paper boat up on here so that any interested parties could get in touch with you about it. Assuming that the cost isn't more than a banker's bonus, The Fabric Fairy would be interested..........

I may build a model of the Titanic, as there shouldn`t be any ice floating down the river this time of year.

How about a model cruise liner, maybe the Disney Magic, now there's a thought, which one of us forumites would be Mickey, then there's Minnie, Goofy, Daisy Duck, Tinker Bell and so on
This Horticultural and Pet event is always a great fun day for all Dovorians

Horticultural AND pet? Can I do a double entry?
Vic. Glad to see that you are about to play what you describe as a small 'part' and that you are retaining your interest in anagrams!

Bob. That was well made how did you do it?As for the small part, that is all I do.

Vic. I can well remember during the alleged scandal with Roddy Llewellyn and Princess Margaret it was said that he had a small part in 'Charley's Aunt'!!!!
