Ah thats good Harry. We have a long history of doing Halloween in ireland. It isnt a recent import as is sometimes suggested..not in de emerald oisle anyway. I was doing it myself as a kid and I aint no spring chicken nowadays, not by a long chalk. So its been on the go a loooong time. It was always good fun for the kids...good clean fun too and safe.
We didnt celebrate any of the Guy Fawkes stuff as we are not connected to Guy Fawkes or fireworks or anything like that, but Halloween was the thing for us. Lots of witches on broomsticks scaring the living daylights out of everyone...every year my mother insisted on a new broomstick..jeez the expense!
