dave shows his true colours tonight by throwing the culture secretary jeremy hunt to the wolves in the commons.
formerly red now centre ed savaged him, not surprisingly really.
looks like dave is the reincarnation of flashman, aggressive when in the ascendancy and cowering when the fag fights back.
he said previously that he felt that mr coulson was being tried twice for the same crime, now he insists that all his checks showed the same person to be squeaky clean.

BSkyB is Hunt's issue, firmly in his portfolio, so your imagination gets the better of you Howard - there seems to be a lot of flights of fancy being applied these days from more than one person.

Has anyone noticed that the wikileaks scandal has passed into oblivion? At the time I called the responsible person a freak, or freaky-leak, and the remark was frowned upon on this Forum!
But that's where it can lead to: to hack is to hack, and hacking means leaking confidential information in a freaky manner.
Wikipedia gives this interpretation:
A leak is a hole or other opening, usually unintended and therefore undesired, in a container or fluid-containing system, such as a tank or a ship's hull, ...

HOWARD;
Your correct, leading conservatives not happy our Dave stayed, worse, our dave had pictures taken of him in a beer tent when he should have been in the commons.

The beer tent was in his constituency, even the PM has to show his face at a local level now and then, he can not be in two places at once.

Was it a case of showing his face in his constituency or not showing it in Parliament , he should have been in Parliament and to dodge the questioning the way he did has raised more questions. Cameron is damaged goods over this, if you lay with dogs you get fleas.

Just to clarify
Brief definition of hackers
A hacker is someone who gains unauthorized access to a computer system. Many hackers just like the challenge of breaking through a computer security system but not all hackers are harmless. It must also be said that not all hackers are bad. Government and huge companies use hackers to maintain their security systems. People normally confuse hackers with crackers. While hackers crack the code of passwords to hack into a security system, crackers crack the code of software to bypass its security mechanisms like copyright protection etc. Hacking and cracking are two different methods, but hackers normally possess cracking skills and crackers, hackings skills. Also note that not all hackers are humans. You also get computerized hackers, but they are developed by humans of course.

And a different piece of clarification
The issue is not limited to the News of the World
The Information Commissioner has documented in his What Price Privacy? series that the practice of hacking is likely to be endemic. He reported that the invoice trail indicated that the few private investigators he had investigated had delivered "services" to the following tabloid newspapers:
Daily/Sunday Mail had paid for 1,218 investigations to be undertaken by private investigators on behalf of up to 91 different journalists. The Daily/Sunday Mirror ordered 824 investigations on behalf of up to 70 journalists. The Sunday People ordered 802 investigations involving up to 50 journalists, and the News of the World (the paper of current interest) had ordered 228 transactions of up to 33 journalists.
The evidence above suggests there were large number of invasions of privacy by hacking and the News of the World are not the only culprits. Any ministerial attempt to limit any inquiry to the Murdoch empire is an attempt to limit the scope of any inquiry.

Flashman has held young Jeremy in front of the fire and `Hopped the Wag` ignoring that the senior prep boys (cabinet) approved BSkyB bid to go ahead. All adding to the list of character revealing errors of judgement list.
Royalty subjected to hacking.Shires and establishment not happy.Browns childrenn subjected to hacking.Nation not happy.
Royalty/Brown hacking happened at the same time.Coulson and Brooks both involved and at centre of affair.Press controlling politicians.Senior politicians will soon need to be answering some seaching questions
Getting worse by the day.

Hopefully, Kathy, with a clarification of boundaries between what is IN the public interest and what is OF interest to the public along with a rebalance of power from the multinational organisations back to the elected public servants.
