Thank you for the information Roger and I hope Jean feels a bit better after her Haemodialysis.

Thanks Jan.
Jean dialised this morning and is currently trying to sleep as she feels pretty grim; hope when she wakes up, she'll feel better.

firstly thanks for the time and effort you have put in on this issue roger.
october seems a long way off, maybe the top brass will hope we have forgotten about it by then?
forget the clearing up of front gardens roger, there is no way i or anyone else would clear up the mess deliberately made by mostly young and fit people. besides it gives
the green light for them to do it again.
i can remember alley way clean ups when people decided to bring out their unwanted furniture for us to take away free of charge.

Front gardens could be a bit of a problem as they can only be done with the landlord's or tenants permission and some scruffy/untidy ones could be wildlife gardens as my neighbour chooses to call his.

you're right jan, back gardens too.
all along our alleyways there are rancid mattresses and sofas with various discarded white goods that are technically on someone's land.

The clean-up will take away that (back) garden rubbish. I've seen those mattresses Howard and some of the other broken toys, bikes and white goods etc.
Guerilla-Gardening is a popular pastime for some people, but not sure it would work in F/Stone Rd. We'll see - it may just be an aspiration (neat and tidy front gardens) that can't be achieved.
