  I didn't read it like that I thought the Police just wanted to update their numbers surely the dosh will only go to someone listed as a tenant or property owner? All but a monkey has to be paid into a bank account which an illegal chap/chapess would not have.

  I have never been good at maffs Brian so I phoned a friend that insists 24 x 4 = 96, I would welcome independent confirmation.

  Just been reading that the locals are now very upset by people turning up to take "selfies" in front of the tower block!! Quite common at the twin towers site in New York especially with young Brits on short break which is distressing to many locals but to my knowledge there are still bodies in Grenfell Tower.

  I spoke to a structural engineer at the weekend who has background knowledge on tower blocks and specifically in London.
  
  He told me we are only at the surface of the wide spread problems the public inquiry will discover and thinks we will all be paying for this through increased insurance and taxation for at least a decade.

  Not just the cladding that is the problem but the flats were designed to limit the spread of fire, Fire and Rescue were telling residents to stay in the flats in order to be safer.
