I can not eat anymore mars bar or chips. or drink Bovil,so lets hope it is a good match with about 800or more watching I have seen Dover in their warm up matchs but could not tell if Dover have a better team or not but winning last Saturday away from home has put them on their way,so lets hope they will play well and get their first match at home a win to.So just a cup of tea for myself.

WEll the Dover move on now to Saturdays match again at home and then away on Monday .
They have two matchs under their belt now both wins so there should be a good turnout on Saturday weather looks good for that match keep playing like they did last night will see me going up there each time they play at home and might even get to go to a few away matchs. And the pie was very hot nice up of tea with it and good football you could not aske for anything better.

The rain is needed for the ground but not on the day

When it is raining I sit in the club house and watch it on the big TV they have on the wall.

On a slightly different note, I just spotted
this. The article doesn't mention that Cuthbert Ottoway was Dover born.

Well we have rain and lots of it,lets hope it will stop soon but Dovers ground is a very good one and with that we have a very good groundman so it should be ok but it might stop some of the public going so it is wait and see it would be great if Dover can get the max points over the weekend.

Was I the only one there then from the forum?,but only just over 600 did turnout yet in midweek we had 1500+ turnout, they must have found out how Dover was going to play today and stayed away.

600 is about 200 less than I expected.
The team have been playing like that since the Huddersfield game. The last three years have been terrible which is why I didn't renew my season ticket after 20+ years.

No Vic you were not the only forum member there and unlike some I am always there. Yes they played hot and cold yesterday but Concord Rangers came with a game plan they slowed it down where happy with a draw and pulled off a win.
We got sucked into their game and we just did not play well, especially in the second half. A very poor boring game overall, but to me if you support a team., then support it through thick and thin, the good games and the bad.
Three games into the season, it's far too early to tell how things will pan out. We lost so move on to the next game. Oh yes and we are 5th Vic and only two teams have 100% after those three games. I remember you saying last season we would do nothing yet we came third and lost out only in the play off final.
