Bern - I have said the same that is why I have not had a real go at Balls. It is a just immature pranks in this case as in all the previous one some have chosen to make a fuss about. Yes, I include the MP in that.
BUT.......a student is not an MP, who can be expected to know better and has had time to learn.

I was recently told that if you haven't grown up by the time you are 50, you don't have to grow up at all. I am holding on to that one.

Barry, what effect could this unbelievable behaviour have on young people and childen who come to know about it, if it is not condemned? An MP!
The Tories should make it clear he is in the wrong party.

Not serious at all. You can disapprove of silly and idiotic behaviour without being so absurdly over the top.

Over the top? Protesting mildly at offensive behaviour seems to be entirely appropriate!! I don't recall anyone saying he should be taken outside and shot in front of his family...........

You might remember Education Minister Michael Gove, he of the holier-than-thou demeanor, condemning the strikers recently. His condemnation followed on from the huge strike about pensions from public sector workers like teachers, headteachers etc.
Gove went on TV condemning angrily those that went on strike..
then someone fetched up a picture of him in his younger years doing exactly the same thing. here is that picture...Gove on a picket line as a younger man.

There's an old saying that if you aren't a socialist when you're 20, you haven't got a heart, and if you aren't a Conservative when you're 40, you haven't got a brain.
