Sangatte not Sandgate, unless there is another body.
Why would there be a need for a murder investigation? Surely if no signs of a crime it will be moved onto the coroner, and if necessary back to the police if they find evidence of crime.

I note that the guy who chopped off the French teacher's head was an asylum seeker!
On the plus side perhaps this has provided a lesson not just for one school class but for the whole world about assimilation of migrants, multi-culturalism and the religion of 'peace'.
Meanwhile German newspaper Bild notes that 15% of those accused of murder in Germany are seeking asylum.
Funny old world.

If this continues Brian, it may be prudent to apply for planning permission now to increase the size of your doorstep!

Smart guy: Clandestine Channel Threat Commander Dan O'Mahoney said the criminals behind the crossings were breaking the law. (

But I guess, especially in these unprecedented times, even criminals have time away from work.

'Clandestine Channel Threat Commander'. Is that an actual job title? Surely, if Dan's broken cover, he'd be the 'Overt Channel Threat Commander'. What's he doing commanding threats to the channel anyway; it's been here a good deal longer than he has, and the locals rather like it. It won't give in without a struggle. Whatever, going by the man's words, 'Public Relations Trainee' or 'Marketing Assistant' would be more appropriate.

Great satire. Genuinely made me laugh.

I don't see why; even the Secret Intelligence Service has a website, and I bet you can get Hermes to deliver parcels to them. Probably to a safe house.

I see DHB Police have arrested a man at the port who was filming some yesterday's 159 illegal immigrant arrivals under 'Corvid restrictions'!
They really dont want us to know what's going on do they?

Just you try rowing a dinghy from Millbank to Victoria Cross wearing a false moustache and dark glasses and see what happens.
