Some shops do sell decals for bins , rather like the sticky backed plastic that Blue Peter used to love , you can transform your bin into a medow, a feild of poppies or butterflies in flight , if you so wish

funnily enough barry a friend of mine suggested the same thing.
the main problem could be jeane racing down from essex to redecorate all the bins in town.

Re Post #93: I think they were only able to remove bins in Balfour Road that were empty at the time. I suspect they'll have to follow the bin men around on Thursday to collect the rest. The sooner they go the better - it's like bin city out there!!

I was watching him, he wasn't checking all the bins he was going to specific addresses, so I'm guessing anyone that hasn't complained is stuck with them.

when they replaced mkine they took the rubbish out of my bins and left me with the bagged rubbish and a blue container as replacement.
rather odd as the truck had many bags of rubbish on it.

Obviously the wrong type of rubbish, Howard.
Remember the 'Candid Camera' skit in the dry cleaning shop, "I'm sorry, we are only dry cleaning clean clothes from today, Madam"

a regular sight at the junction of bridge street and branch street - wonder how many people live in there to generate this level of rubbish?
