I just did a post on Paul's link as a test, it worked fine.
Please feel free to delete it Peter as I just wanted to prove a point.

Hi Howard, the link that you've given above is a 'dummy' page which was set up by the person who created our actual facebook page, which is on Paul's post #418, to enable me to access the proper page as an administrator. Dunno why this had to be, I'm not into facebook (my wife runs my own facebook account and I rarely see it), but was told that that was what was necessary.

Jan, that means the very first comment on the P/p facebook page is in reference to me!

Keith, in case you haven't realised, DHB will remain in control of the Port.
The shadow port run by P/p has no authority over the Harbour, its directives are not effective, and could possibly be a strategic camouflage structure in the event of a French landing: Napoleon's regiments will move on the people's port, while Paul will give cover from Western Heights.
This will allow the real Port, run by DHB, with real ships, to evacuate expats from Dunkirk, as their assets are ruthlessly confiscated by EU commissars. Paper ships belonging to P/p will be a ploy to attract incoming raids, with regiments of the "white army" (that exists only on paper) giving out confusing orders, confounding the invaders.
The invaders will be puzzled, looking from the Sea towards Western Heights and towards Eastern Heights, but the French Flag flying over Calais will reveal the truth: the EU flag is long gone from the Hotel de Ville, the French are our allies, and from Calais will appear the sails with the Trident, the Red St. George Cross flying from the masts, which had harboured in an ally port.
The raiders proved to be a white army too, that existed only in fantasy, and the crowds, gathered on the Heights from West to East, cheered, as Sarge proclaimed: "the show is over, lads".
THE END

Alexander;
If this govt remains its likely the DHB won't retain ownership(running) of the port.
The peoples port has a lot to answer for, but lets see how it all pans out

Paul, finally you have reached the conclusion, that there is a cloud cucu land.
Now back to reality. The Port is owned and run by DHB, right!
Unless you can prove the opposite!

I don't think I know anyone who would think the port isn't CURRENTLY 'owned' and run by DHB, the future is a different matter.....

Keith, have never said councils "running" the Port, as you full well know.
Owning, and running, can be two different things.
The Port would be run by DHB, this was my proposal, and owned by the Community, represented by the administrative Council(s).
You know this, it's been written many times, and is in my representations.
It's not a case here whether you agree or not, but a case of not twisting my words.

Howard, the DfT wrote to me that the Port is owned and run by DHB.

Paul, have you any proof that the Government has stated that in future the Port will be transferred to another entity?
If so, please let us all know.

DHB are the legal owners of the port but its beneficial owner is the Nation; in the same way a pension fund legally owns the fund's investments but they truly belong beneficially to the pensioners.
