Stephen Hawking once expressed the opinion that the odds on there being no other intelligent creatures in the universe were about a billion times longer than the odds of winning the lottery jackpot. There are untold billions of stars out there, many of which will have earth-like planets orbiting them. Some will have intelligent life but neither we nor they shall ever know unless someone overcomes the difficulties with travelling faster than light.

It makes obvious sense! Why wouldn't there be a life out there? The question Why Not is often more effective than If or Why.

Hawking also once offered an elegant proof that time travel will never be possible. If it were ever to become possible then we would have met tourists from the future!

Aliens don't exist. It's common knowledge that there is no life on other planets.
The American government spent a lot of money trying to land space-craft on Mars, but no Marsian ever appeared on Earth.
It's pointless waiting for a Marsian or a Vesuvian to come along, Peter.
Alexander thank god there is one normal person left along with me we live amongst aliens they are known as MEN

I was not referring to other planets in our own solar system Alex but those around distant stars.

According to Erich von Daniken they've already been here.

I don't understand why anyone would dismiss the idea! It's probably more believable than ghosts........and I wouldn't dream of dissing anyone who claimed to believe in them!
I believe in them as we share our house with one and there has been evidence
And this is different to possible life on an as yet unidentified planet?
No evidence as yet Bern but with ghosts there is .

I have met an Alien yes it was a female one and was transported to the St Radigunds area from planet AY-cliffe from a far galaxy. This female Alien is dangerous normally only to Males.
Approach with care as she has a foul temper when she hasnt had much sleep.and hasnt been out to see Males strippers, the Male Alien her husband is a lovely man, kind gentle generous and placid complete opposite to the Female

If you knew what I know,we would both be in trouble!
