back as far as whitfield roundabout,affecting the 61 aycliffe buses,people waiting for the 0830 and 0845 where still standing there at 0920 before one turned up.

Chaos has spread to the roundabout on the B2011 just before Capel, trucks are parked up on the roundabout and on the sliproads.

Stagecoach have confirmed on their website that 15A is not serving Eastern Docks and that 61 is operating both ways via Military Hill ('over the top' as they put it). When I drove up Jubilee Way at around 1030, there was a queue two-thirds of the way back up the hill, with police holding everything up dealing with lorries as they arrived near the bottom.
