Suspected class A drugs seized by police in Dover
Two men have been arrested on suspicion of supplying class A drugs in Dover.


Officers made the arrests yesterday morning (Thursday 22 March 2018) after carrying out a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act at an address in Park Avenue, Dover.

While searching the property officers seized around 200 wraps of a substance believed to be heroin and more than £1,000 in cash.

A 50-year-old man and a 42-year-old man, both from Dover, were arrested on suspicion of supplying a controlled drug. They have been released pending further enquiries.

The arrests were made as part of an ongoing initiative known as Operation Raptor, which is designed to tackle, disrupt and prevent violent crime and the possession of offensive weapons, as well as the supply of class A drugs.
