A coffee morning is being held at a Dover church this Saturday (8 September) for a Christian children's charity.
It is taking place from 10am to 12 noon in Footprints @ The Beacon, at 37 London Road, Dover CT17 0SS.
The Beacon Church, near the junction with Beaconsfield Road, has had a long association with Action for Children, which used to be called National Children's Home, raising hundreds of pounds every year to help fund their work.
Organiser Graham Tutthill said: "The work carried out by Action For Children is even more vital these days, and although it is a national charity, some of their services are provided in the Dover, Deal and Folkestone area, supporting children and their families through difficult times.
"We are pleased to be able to support them and everyone is welcome at the coffee morning."
