Updated 12/04/18 - The missing girl has been safely located.
Kent Police is appealing for information to locate a missing teenager from Thanet.
The girl was reported missing from Margate during the evening of Monday 2 April after she failed to return home from meeting friends.
Detective Constable Brad Shingles said: "Through our enquiries, we are aware [the girl] has been in contact via phone since she was reported missing.
"But we would ask [her] to come forward in person and speak to us to confirm she is safe and well."
