Man and woman charged following burglary and thefts in Dover

Kent Police officers investigating a burglary, fraud and thefts from motor vehicles in Dover have charged two people.
 
On Tuesday 11 July 2017 a property in Durban Crescent was reported to have been burgled between 5am and 7am where a handbag including a bank card was stolen.
 
Between Saturday 15 July and Monday 17 July items from vehicles were also reported stolen in Astley Avenue and Marine Parade.
 
Christopher Flippence, 38, and Stacey Martin, 26, both of Napier Road in Dover were charged today (Wednesday, 26 July 2017) with fraud by false representation, possession of a prohibited weapon, two counts of receiving stolen goods along with burglary and theft in connection with the incidents.
 
Martin was also charged with possession of a class B drug.
 
Both appeared at Medway Magistrates' Court via video link earlier today. Flippence has been remanded in custody and Martin has been released on bail until Wednesday 23 August when they will both appear at Canterbury Crown Court.
