Benjamin Mazorra was sentenced on 15 June 2017 at Thanet Magistrates’ Court. He pleaded guilty to common assault.

On 27 March 2017 the 32-year-old, of King Street, Dover, assaulted a man in King Street.

Magistrates sentenced Mazorra to 16 weeks in prison. He must also pay a £115 victim surcharge. 

Kamil Zdanski was sentenced on 22 June 2017 at Medway Magistrates’ Court. He pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer and failing to surrender to court bail. 

On 24 April 2017 the 28-year-old, of Beaufoy Terrace, Dover, assaulted a police officer in Biggin Street, Dover. 

On 31 May 2017 he failed to surrender to bail at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court without reasonable excuse. 

Magistrates sentenced Zdanski to six weeks in prison, suspended for 12 months, and ordered him to carry out 150 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months. He must also pay £85 costs and a £115 victim surcharge. 

Jake Palmer was sentenced on 22 June 2017 at Thanet Magistrates’ Court.

He pleaded guilty to racially aggravated harassment, possession of a knife and assaulting a police officer.

On 20 May 2017 the 21-year-old, of Hill Road, Folkestone, used racially aggravated threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour towards a woman at a hospital in Ethelbert Road, Canterbury. He also assaulted a police officer and had a Stanley knife in his possession in Pencester Road, Dover. 

Magistrates sentenced Palmer to 16 weeks in prison. He must also pay a £120 fine, £300 compensation, £85 costs and a £115 victim surcharge.
