Council Tax levels for 2017/18 were confirmed at a meeting of Full Council last night (Wednesday, 1 March 2017). Dover District Council has confirmed that the district council part of the Council Tax bill for 2017/18 for a Band D property will be £177.39, an increase of 2.87%.
The average total Council Tax bill for 2017/18 for a Band D property in the district will be £1,649.27, an increase of 3.6%.
The average total bill for a Band D property for 2017/18 includes the element of Council Tax for Kent County Council (£1,178.82), Dover District Council (£177.39), the Police and Crime Commissioner for Kent (£157.15), Kent and Medway Fire and Rescue Authority (£73.35), and an average for Town and Parish Councils of £62.56.
