Police appeal for information following fail to stop collision

Detectives are appealing for witnesses following a collision between a car and a pedal cycle in Dover.

The incident took place at around 6.15pm on Saturday (9 January 2016) in Crafford Street in Dover. A white Land Rover and a pedal cycle collided. The cyclist, a man aged in his 40s, was taken to hospital, where he remains in a serious condition.

The Land Rover did not stop at the scene and police are appealing for information from anyone who may have seen the collision in Crafford Street, or an incident that occurred shortly before between the same two vehicles in Folkestone Road.
