Man arrested following two car collision in Dover

Police have arrested a man following a serious road traffic collision on a one-way street in Dover.

The head-on collision is reported to have taken place in Frith Road just before 3.10am this morning (Monday, 21 November 2016).

The two vehicles reported to have been involved were a Nissan Juke and a Proton Savvy. A female passenger in the Nissan was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the Proton, a man in his 20s from the Dover area, was also taken to hospital as a precaution. He was later arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and drink driving. He remains in police custody.
