Dover District Community Safety Partnership elects new chairman

Thursday, 13 October 2016
The Dover District Community Safety Partnership has elected a new Chairman as it continues to work for the future of communities across the area - the new Chairman is Cllr Keith Morris from Dover District Council.

Cllr Keith Morris, who is also DDC Cabinet Member for Community Safety, said: "I'm very pleased to take over Chairmanship of the partnership. This is a great opportunity to build on the excellent work that has already been done, and to continue to develop the partnership for the future. We will continue to work together to make sure that Dover District remains a safe place to live, work and visit."

The partnership brings together organisations committed to reducing anti-social behaviour and crime and disorder, and to building stronger communities. They respond to community safety needs and issues and address crime and the fear of crime. The partnership includes Dover District Council, Kent County Council, Kent Fire and Rescue Service, Kent Police, the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Community Rehabilitation Company, and the South Kent Coast Clinical Commissioning Group.
