Witnesses and information sought after robbery in Dover

Kent Police is appealing for witnesses to a robbery in Dover yesterday (Thursday, 29 January 2015).

A 23-year-old man was walking across the car park in Crafford Street near the Charlton Centre at around 3 pm when three men approached him.

One of the men restrained him while another pulled his T shirt over his head. They stole his wallet from a jacket pocket. He was also kicked and punched.

The suspects are described as being in their mid-20s and were possibly under the influence of drink and/or drugs. One of them was wearing a baseball cap which was possibly green in colour.

Anyone who witnessed the robbery or has information that could help is asked to contact Detective Constable Kane Clifford on 01843 222289.
