Council Tax decision

Dover District Council has confirmed that the District Council part of the Council Tax bill for households in the area has been frozen for the second year running. Council Tax levels for 2015/16 were confirmed at a meeting of Full Council on Wednesday (4 March 2015).

The average total bill for a Band D property in Dover District for 15/16 will be £1,536.56, an increase of 1.73%. This includes the element of Council Tax for Kent County Council (£1,089.99), Dover District Council (£167.49), Kent Police and Crime Commissioner (£147.15), Kent and Medway Fire and Rescue Authority (£70.65), and an average for Town and Parish Councils of £61.28.
