Monday, 17 March 2014
An appeal for information and a warning to cat owners have been made after a cat was shot with an air rifle pellet in the St David's Avenue area of Dover.

The cat owner, who does not wish to be identified, let out her pet at midday on Monday (10 March 2014) but when he returned at 4.30pm he was limping.

The cat was taken to a veterinary surgeon who extracted an air rifle pellet from his front leg and the cat should make a good recovery.

Anyone with information should contact PC Kirsty Gee at Kent Police on 01304 218178, giving reference ZY/7941/14.
