Police were called to Sports Direct in Biggin Street, Dover on Friday morning (25 July 2014) to detain a 13-year-old boy regarding the alleged theft of a pair of jogging bottoms.
The boy then produced a knife and was threatening to harm himself.
He was arrested and charged with theft and possessing a bladed article. He was released on bail to answer before Channel Youth Court on 19 August.
