Kent Police is appealing for witnesses to a serious road traffic incident in Dover.
A car travelling coast-bound on the A20 collided with the Aycliffe roundabout just before 9.15am this morning (26 June 2014).
The car appears to have been thrown from the roundabout and landed in a nearby car park.
The driver, a woman, was declared dead at the scene. Police believe no other vehicles or people were involved.
The A20 is currently closed coast-bound from the A260 (Courtwood roundabout) while emergency services deal with the incident.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible as the coast-bound section is expected to be closed for up to four hours.
The London-bound section has just re-opened.
