Police investigating a fatal road traffic incident in Dover on Thursday (26 June 2014) are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen a silver Toyota Corolla before the incident.
Officers have established that the Toyota travelled over the Dartford Crossing at 8.15 am, then a short distance on the M25 where it joined the M20 and drove down through Kent to the A20.
At approximately 9.13 am the car appears to have lost control at the Aycliffe roundabout and struck an adjacent private car park.
The victim, a 32-year-old woman from Hornchurch in Essex, was pronounced dead at the scene. There was no one else in her car.
Anyone who saw the collision, or noticed the Silver Toyota while it was on the M25, M20 or A20 before the incident, is asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 01622 798538.
