Dover District Council is reminding residents and visitors that there is free parking in DDC car parks on Saturday 6 December to support Small Business Saturday.
Small Business Saturday is a national campaign designed to raise the profile of small businesses across the UK, and as part of the initiative, DDC will be offering free car parking in all its off-street car parks all day on 6 December. KCC has also agreed free parking at the on-street Pay and Display areas in the district for the day.
Car parking will also be free in DDC off-street car parks, and at on-street Pay and Display parking areas all week from Saturday 20 December to Friday 26 December inclusive. Parking is also free in most DDC car parks every Sunday.
Parking charges still apply at car parks not owned by DDC and all other parking conditions continue to apply.
