Council Tax decision

Dover District Council has confirmed that the District Council part of the Council Tax bill for households in the area has been frozen for the year ahead. Council Tax levels for 2014/15 were confirmed at a meeting of Full Council last night (5 March 2014).

The average total bill for a Band D property in Dover District for 14/15 will be £1,510.36, an increase of 1.74%. This includes the element of Council Tax for Kent County Council (£1,068.66), Dover District Council (£167.49), Kent Police (£144.28), Kent and Medway Fire and Rescue Authority (£69.30), and an average for Town and Parish Councils of £60.63.
