Attempted burglary leaves 75-year-old victim with broken arm

Kent Police is investigating an attempted burglary which resulted in the victim receiving a broken arm.

Officers were called to a property in Cannon Street, Dover at 1.10am this morning (Friday, 11 July 2014) where they found a 75-year-old man injured.

It is believed he had confronted a group of people after he heard banging and went to investigate. After he confronted the group, he was pushed against a wall and fell to ground.

The group then ran towards Dieu Stone Lane, in the direction of Maison Dieu Road. The victim was taken to hospital for treatment.
