Kent Police is renewing its appeal for witnesses to a serious road traffic collision between a cyclist and a van in Ringwould on Saturday 7 September.
Officers were called at 8.40am after a blue Ribble road racing style bike being ridden along the A258 Dover Road from Dover to Ringwould was in collision with a blue Vauxhall Vivaro van travelling in the same direction.
The rider of the cycle suffered serious injuries and was taken by air ambulance to a London hospital where he died the following day.
Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are urging anyone with information about the collision to come forward. It is understood there were some pedestrians in the area at the time and officers are particularly keen to speak to them.
