Police investigate reports of suspicious man in Dover

Tuesday, 9 July 2013
Kent Police is investigating reports of a suspicious man approaching female dog walkers at Kearsney Abbey near Dover.

Several women have complained about a man loitering and staring at them and then approaching them and making inappropriate suggestions.

He is described as a white man aged in his early twenties, of slim build. He is also described as 'good-looking' and 'well-spoken' with pale skin, short, dark, wavy hair, and blue eyes.

He wears smart casual clothes which sometimes includes a ¾ length jacket. He has also been seen with a bus timetable in his shirt pocket.

Kent Police is asking the public to report if they see this man and, if they do see him, not to approach him but to try and see where he goes.

Please report anything suspicious to the park keeper if one is on duty, or phone Kent Police on 101.

If you have information but would prefer to remain anonymous you can call Kent Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
