Officers investigating criminal damage at a childcare nursery in Dover are appealing for information.

It is reported a number of items were damaged at Kid Ease Nursery, in Poulton Close, between 7pm on 23 August and 7.30am on 27 August.

It is thought the suspects entered the premises by climbing over a fence before causing £500 worth of damage.

PC Amy Winspear said: "This appears to be reckless behaviour causing damage to many items.

"A bench, mud kitchen, children's toys and campsite den were damaged, the outside of the air conditioning unit was smashed and herbs were pulled out of the herb garden.

"I'd urge anyone with information to contact police."

Witnesses or anyone with information is asked to contact PC Amy Winspear at Kent Police by calling 01304 218165 and quoting reference ZY/025395/13.
