Find out more at your local Neighbourhood Forum

Tuesday, 29 January 2013
Local residents are invited to come along and find out about a range of public services at the next Dover North and Dover Town Neighbourhood Forum meetings - with Dover North on Thursday 31 January at Elvington Community Centre and Dover Town on Thursday 7 February at St Mary's Parish Centre, Dover, both from 6pm-8.30pm.

The Forums will provide an opportunity to find out about funding advice, community safety, energy saving and advice on switching energy suppliers, health and well-being, recycling, environmental health, planning, and a range of other information.

The Dover North Forum will also include the chance to find out about the Big Lottery and rural affordable housing. The Dover Town Forum will include the chance to find out about the Big Local scheme, which is a resident-led scheme that is inviting people living in Dover Town to get involved in how to spend £1m funding for the community.

There will be light refreshments and an opportunity to view displays and meet other Forum members. All suggestions are welcomed from local people about what they would like to discuss at future meetings.

In the event of bad weather, it may be necessary to cancel the meeting at short notice. Please check the website below or call DDC for more information before travelling.
