The volunteers who crew Dover's RNLI Lifeboat have received a financial boost following a fun day that raised over £500 for the RNLI's funds.
The event at The Lighthouse, Capel Le Ferne on Saturday 25th May was organised by Channel swimmer & Olympic torch carrier Sam Jones from Dover.
Dover's Lifeboat Operation's Manager, Roy Couzens said: "This is a great effort and we are immensely pleased that the local community continue to support their lifeboat and their lifeboat crew. Our thanks to Sam and everyone else who took part in what turned out to be a very successful day".
