The Port of Dover has released a statement that Rowecord has entered administration. The company had been contracted to complete works on the replacement of berth 6 at the Port of Dover.
The new steelworks had already been delivered and fabrication is well advanced, and the Port is confident that it can arrange to complete the works.
A statement from the Port said it's main concern at this time is for all the staff of Rowecord and the many local contractors that were involved in the project. As such, the Port is seeking early discussions with the administrators, Grant Thornton, in order to secure the completion of the project using, wherever possible, the assigned local contractors as previously planned.
