Appeal follows theft of mountain bike from Fowlmead

Kent Police is appealing for information following the theft of a valuable mountain bike from Fowlmead Country Park in Sandwich Road, Sholden near Deal.

A man hired an electric blue 2013 trek mountain bike from the hire hut at Fowlmead on Sunday 7 July but failed to return it. The bike has distinctive lizard skins printed on the wheel forks.

The suspect is described as a white man aged 30 to 35 with short, dark brown hair, and was wearing a green polo shirt, grey shorts and white trainers.

Police would like to hear from anyone who knows the identity of the suspect, or anyone with information about the whereabouts of the stolen bike.
