This year's Safety Awareness Day will take place along the Promenade by the Dover Sea Sports Centre on Bank Holiday Monday 7th May between 11am and 3pm.
Port of Dover Police Neighbourhood Policing Unit and Kent Fire and Rescue Service will be attending with the Fire Safety Team and a fire engine, the chip pan fire display unit, and other safety displays. Also present will be the RNLI who will be offering life jacket safety checks for boat owners and other safety advice, the Coastguard Cliff Rescue Team, the British Life Saving Association who will give CPR demonstrations, and the River and Sea Safety Unit from the Port of London Authority. Dover Youth Services will be offering information on the new Dover Youth HQ and offering face painting for young children on the day.
