Exciting proposals for improvements to Elms Vale Road and Northbourne Avenue play areas in Dover will be on show at consultation events at the play areas from 3-5pm on 14 November (Elms Vale) and 15 November (Northbourne Avenue), and your views are sought.
These follow-up events are being held on design options for an innovative and creative new play area for Northbourne Avenue, and improvements at Elms Vale, and this is your chance to vote for your favourite designs. The proposals have been developed following a range of excellent ideas from the community, including feedback from local school children and a range of local residents, from a consultation back in May.
In the event of rain, the meetings will be held at The Ark, Noah's Ark Road, Dover, from 3-5pm on 14 and 15 November. There will also be further work with local schools.
Consultation is being carried out by KCFN on behalf of Dover District Council, and the projects are being funded from planning monies. The refurbishment of these strategic play areas is in keeping with the Council's Review of Play Area Provision and DDC's commitment to develop strategic play areas across the district.
