Man arrested after cannabis plants found

Kent Police found 28 cannabis plants at a house in Chaucer Road, Elvington, after a warrant was carried out on Wednesday (20 June 2012).

The plants were found in the loft space and have an estimated street value of £17,000.

The warrant was executed under the Misuse of Drugs Act and a 33-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis. He was questioned and released on bail until 8 August 2012 while officers make further enquiries.
